HELLO OUR NEIGHBOURS BA MONZE CENTRAL

WHY WE SHOULD CHOOSE CHIMUKA HABWANKUNTA

Every day, we walk on bad roads. Our young people sit at home without jobs. Our schools and clinics are struggling. These are not stories, we are living this life every day.

The question is: how long are we going to accept this?

Change will not come by chance. Change comes when the people decide enough is enough.

Today, you have that chance.

A chance to choose a leader who understands your struggles, who walks with you, and who is ready to work for you.

That leader is Chimuka Habwankunta.

Chimuka is not coming to make noise. He is coming to work.
He knows that leadership is not about titles, it is about improving people’s lives.

He is committed to

Fixing our roads and bringing real development to every ward

Improving schools and clinics

Standing with the people and listening, not ignoring

This is not about empty promises. It is about action.
It is about a leader who will show results, not just speak words.

But listen carefully, no leader can change things alone.

It starts with you.

Your vote is your voice.
Your vote is your power.
Your vote is your future.

If you want better roads, vote for it.
If you want jobs for your children, vote for it.
If you want real development, vote for it.

Do not sit back and complain tomorrow about what you did not change today.

This is your moment.

Let us stand together. Let us choose progress.
Let us choose a leader who is ready to work for the people.

Support Chimuka Habwankunta.
Support real change.

Calls for Unity and Respectful Dialogue Amid Differences

Monze—Hon. Jack J. Mwiimbu, SC, MP for Monze Central, has urged citizens to embrace unity and respectful engagement despite differences in beliefs, emphasizing that diversity of opinion is a hallmark of a healthy society.

In a statement, the lawmaker noted that disagreements should not be a source of hostility but rather an opportunity for constructive dialogue. He stressed that individuals can hold opposing views while still maintaining mutual respect and dignity.

“Differences in belief should never turn us into enemies,” he said, adding that respectful discourse creates room for learning, growth, and the discovery of common ground even in challenging conversations.

Hon. Mwiimbu further cautioned against the use of insults in public discussions, stating that such behavior weakens arguments and undermines the respect citizens owe one another.

He called on the public to prioritize maturity over hostility, understanding over division, and unity over unnecessary conflict, particularly in a time when national cohesion remains vital.

The remarks come as political and social discussions continue to intensify across various platforms, highlighting the need for civility and constructive engagement among citizens.

Mwiimbu Engages Manungu Ward, Announces Bid for Monze East Seat

Residents of Manungu Ward today gave a warm reception to Monze Central Member of Parliament, Jack J. Mwiimbu, during a community engagement meeting that combined development updates with a key political announcement.

The interactive meeting allowed the lawmaker to engage directly with residents, providing updates on government programs while also listening to community concerns. Such engagements, he noted, remain critical in shaping responsive and inclusive development agendas.

During his address, Hon. Mwiimbu highlighted major development initiatives being implemented by the UPND government under President Hakainde Hichilema, emphasizing efforts aimed at improving livelihoods and restoring dignity among citizens.

In a major announcement, the Minister declared that he will be contesting the parliamentary seat for the newly created Monze East Constituency in the upcoming August General Elections.

The meeting also saw notable contributions to the education sector, including:

Donation of 200 bags of cement to Manungu Primary and Secondary School

Donation of 100 bags of cement to Miyoba School

Provision of a mechanised water reticulation system and rehabilitation of a blown-off roof at Monze East School

Hon. Mwiimbu stressed that these interventions are practical steps toward improving learning conditions, reaffirming government’s commitment to education through continued investment in infrastructure and resources.

He further commended the Manungu community for its unity and active participation in development programs, noting that collaboration between leadership and citizens is key to accelerating progress.

Reaffirming his commitment, Hon. Mwiimbu assured residents that he will continue working tirelessly to ensure government programs and resources reach every part of the constituency, as efforts continue to build a stronger, more inclusive, and prosperous Monze.

President Hakainde Hichilema has called on engineers to step forward and help shape Zambia’s economic future.

Speaking during the Engineering Institution of Zambia gathering in Livingstone, the President urged the profession to uphold credibility, ethics, and technical excellence in delivering national development.

FQM Zambia Country Manager Dr. Godwin Beene emphasised that engineers remain critical in setting standards and delivering results that make development real.

“As the country pushes towards key goals, such as increased copper production, engineers are being challenged to rise, take responsibility, and work hand in glove with government as true partners,” Dr. Beene said.

He noted that engineers must move from the sidelines to the center of progress, turning policy into practical solutions that build industries and strengthen the economy.

Zambia’s future will not happen by chance; it will be engineered.
