MWEETWA RALLIES BWEENGWA TO SUPPORT KASAUTA MICHELO AND VENORIA CHILALA

Hundreds of UPND supporters today gathered in Bweengwa for the official campaign launch of Honourable Kasauta Michelo, the UPND parliamentary candidate for Bweengwa Constituency.
Addressing the crowd, UPND National Spokesperson Honourable Cornelius Mweetwa called on the people of Bweengwa to remain united and support all UPND-adopted candidates. He said the development currently taking place across the country can only continue if people vote for leaders chosen by the party.
Honourable Mweetwa urged residents to rally behind Honourable Kasauta Michelo, describing him as a hardworking and committed leader who understands the needs of the people and is ready to continue bringing development to Bweengwa.
He also appealed to voters to support Ms. Venoria Chilala for the position of Monze Town Council Chairperson. He said this was an opportunity for the people of Monze to make history by electing the first woman to hold the position.
Honourable Mweetwa stressed that women have an important role to play in leadership and development. He said electing Venoria Chilala would strengthen women's participation in decision-making and help build a more inclusive society.
The gathering was filled with excitement as party members, youths, women, and supporters pledged their support for the UPND candidates. Songs, dances, and messages of unity dominated the event as supporters expressed confidence in the party's vision.
The key message from the campaign launch was clear: for continued development, unity, and progress, the people of Bweengwa should vote for Honourable Kasauta Michelo as Member of Parliament and Ms. Venoria Chilala as Monze Town Council Chairperson.

Honourable Jack Mwiimbu thanked the people of Chipembele for turning up in large
numbers and showing their commitment to the party and its vision.
In his address, he called on all party members to unite behind the party's adopted candidates
ahead of the elections. He urged members to put aside any differences and misunderstandings
that may have arisen during the intra-party elections. He emphasized that the elections are
now behind us and that the party must move forward as one family with one goal.
Honourable Mwiimbu reminded members that victory can only be achieved through unity,
hard work, and discipline. He encouraged everyone to work together to ensure that the
President achieves the target of 5 million votes in the coming elections.
He further called on all party members and supporters to vote for all the party's adopted
councillor candidates, stating that electing councillors from the same party will help deliver
development effectively and ensure smooth implementation of government programmes.
The Honourable Minister also made a special appeal to women across Monze to support and
vote for Mrs. Venoria Chilala for Monze Town Council Chairperson. He noted that Mrs.
Chilala has the opportunity to make history as the first woman ever to become Chairperson of
the Monze Town Council.
He encouraged women to come out in large numbers and support one of their own, saying
that electing Mrs. Chilala would be a proud moment for women and girls throughout the
district. He urged all voters, both men and women, to rally behind her candidacy and give her
overwhelming support at the polls.

Honourable Jack Mwiimbu called on everyone to remain peaceful, united, and
focused on victory. He urged party members to campaign door-to-door, mobilize voters, and
work tirelessly to ensure success for the President, Mrs. Venoria Chilala, and all adopted
councillor candidates.
