Let Us Pray

Great and Massive God , Lord You are great and we honour You. You are faithful to Your promises and Your constant love is always upon those who love You and do what You command.
We have sinned, we have been evil, we have done wrong. We have rejected Your commands and we have turned away from what You showed us was right. We have harden our hearts to Your word. But You are always merciful and forgiving. Father, we pray for Your mercy and forgiveness to surround us always, we are praying to You because Your are merciful and because You do what You say, not because we have done right.
Lord, fill this day You have made for us with the love and peace of Your Son Jesus Christ, so that we may rejoice in it. Take charge of our lives, and let us do what is pleasing in Your eyes.
Set us free from evil desires, and deliver us from every evil. We also pray for the sick, be their Healer, the widows, be their husband, the fatherless, be their father. And may Your loving mercy be upon the prisoners, may Your watch over those in countries at wars and give every nation Your peace.
We have so much to ask for, instead, we put and leave all in the hands of our Lord Jesus Christ, and through His Mighty name, humbly we pray.

I NEVER KNEW I WAS SHARING MY HUSBAND WITH MY MOTHER

I have been married to my husband franklin for years now and never did I expect him to cheat on me,not even think that he would do such with my
mum..

Franklin was a banker and I was a teacher in a renowned secondary school in town.we met on Sunday evening in a fast food not to far from my house....

We talked and enjoyed the evening and also exchanged contacts and our love story continued...we dated for seven months before he proposed and I joyfully accepted...

I shared the good news to my mother ,my siblings and my friends too...I felt a little sad but my dad wasn't alive to witness it....our wedding was fully attended by people and other went so well...

Ever since I got married,my mum offen pay us visit uninvited ....sometimes,she would stay for some weeks before going back to my father's house....my mother got married at a tender age of sixteen and she had us before the age of twenty eight....She was pregnant with my brother when my dad died of a car accident... .

And she refused to remarry though we told her to but she refused.

But little did I know that my husband and my own mother do have an affair in my own house when am off to school.

I do leave the house on time before my husband and so don't know any other thing that happens in the house while am away...
He would be getting ready for work but the moment I stepped out,he would stay back with my mother at home before going to work..

I came back from school one afternoon and saw my mother's night on my matrimonial bed ,I picked it up and went to my mum's room and handed it to her"oh I have been searching for it since morning ,it was washed and kept out side maybe your husband took it in thinking it was yours"she lied...

I didn't say anything else than to go back to my room. While I was in my room some naughty thoughts came to my mind.Because I know that she was wearing that night gown when I left in the morning.But how was it my husband who took it into our room...I immediately waved those thoughts off my mind..."maybe what she said was true ...anyways,she is my mother" I said as I headed to the kitchen.

Aunty Mufulira, My boyfriend likes an!al and if I refuse he brings in his male friends and do it in my presence.

Introduction has already been done. We fixed our marriage first week of April. But his constant demands for ann"al is just the problem as for bringing his male friends I know he's just looking for a way to hurt me. It's better than bringing in wom!en.

DPP DECLINES TO PROSECUTE MUMBI PHIRI OVER AGGRAVATED ROBBERY ALLEGATIONS

The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Gilbert Phiri, has decided against prosecuting Patriotic Front (PF) member Mumbi Phiri on charges of aggravated robbery.

Ms. Phiri had been arrested in connection with allegations of stealing K20,000 in cash and an Infinix phone valued at K3,800 from Boldwin Chilambikwa of Kawambwa District, Luapula Province.

The robbery was reportedly carried out using a taser gun.

However, in a letter addressed to the Zambia Police Commissioner for Criminal Investigations, the DPP says there is no evidence to prove that Ms. Phiri either participated in or facilitated the assault and theft, rendering her unfit to be charged with the offense.

Trump says no to homosexuality

NEWLY installed 47th President of the United States of America Donald Trump has waged war against homosexuality in the U.S. stating that the country will only recognise two genders which are male and female henceforth.

Trump said this in his inaugural speech, minutes after he was sworn in as the 47th President of that country.

He said his government will sign an executive that allows the U.S. to only recognise two genders which are male and female.

Trump announced that his administration also plans to systematically dismantle funding for programmes that recognise transgender individuals and may rescind "X" gender markers on passports.

“It will henceforth be the official policy of the U.S. government that there are only two genders, male and female,” said Trump.

The immediate former President Joe Biden’s administration had recognised more than two genders in its policy actions in which the State Department updated passport applications to include an option for an “X” gender marker for transgenders and non binary individuals on their medical records.

Trump also aims to ban movies that promote homosexuality or programmes that suggest to kids that they can change their gender.

He added that any doctor who will be found performing surgeries on children to change their gender will be prosecuted.

“Movies that promote hòmòsexuality or programmes that suggest to kids they can change their gender will be banned. Any doctor caught performing surgeries on kids to change their gender will be prosecuted. We will promote the concept of nuclear families and the role of mothers and fathers,” declared Trump.

Let Us Pray

Loving Savior, On this Tuesday morning, We rises with thanksgiving Our hearts and hoping Our spirits. We thank You for the gift of a new day, a chance to walk in Your light and glorify Your name. Guide Us steps and guard Our thoughts, that everything We do may reflect Your goodness. **Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." – Psalm 119:105**

We surrender all Our plans to You, Lord, trusting in Your wisdom and grace. Help Us to approach every tasks with diligence and every challenges with faith, knowing You are by Our side. **Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths." – Proverbs 3:5-6**

Fill Our hearts with compassions and Our words with kindness. May We be vessels of Your love to everyone We encounter today. Theme: Obedience to God - John 14:21

"Whoever has my commandments and observes them is the one who loves me. And whoever loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and reveal myself to him.”

Reflection:
Obedience is how we show our love to God. It is how God feels loved by us. We love God because He is good, and as a response to His Great LOVE for us. Let's not just tell God that we love Him, instead, let us accompany our words with obedience to His Commandments, His Word, His will, His teachings and instructions. This is because the evidence of our love for God is our obedience to Him. In the words of our Lord Jesus, "If you love me, you will keep my commandments."

Reflection Questions:
How do you show obedience to God in your personal life?

Is there any instruction that God has given you that you haven't obeyed or have delayed to obey?

Do you examine your conscience oftenly to see if you've obeyed God's commandments, and thereafter prepare for the Sacrament of Confession?

Let's Prayer

Let Us Pray

Dear God,

Thank you for waking Us up on this beautiful Monday morning and for the gift of a new week. As We begin this day, We praise Your holy name and rejoice in the week You have prepared for Us.

We pray that this week is filled with joy, love, and countless blessings for Us and to everyone around Us. Lord, grant Us wisdom and strength to face each moment, and let Your peace guide Our hearts.

Help Us to shine Your light, spread kindness, and reflect Your goodness in all We do. Give Us some calm and sound minds, and strengthen Our faith so We can trust You to handle every challenge. Remind Us not to worry about tomorrow, for You are already working things out for Our good.

Thank You, Father, for Your endless grace and love.

Monday Reflection

Psalms 128:2 (KJV)
“For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.”

We deserve to enjoy! Life is full of many adventures, and the children of God are bound to suffer many tribulations, trials, tests, and temptations. This is the more reason why, after going through all these tribulations, trials, tests, and temptations, a time will come for us to be glorified. It is a time that God has assigned at the end of our toil to enjoy the fruits of our labors in the Lord. It is not a time for weeping anymore but a time of rejoicing and celebrating - celebrating Jesus Christ for seeing us through the hard times. It is a time that we don’t struggle for anything. We become glad and happy because it is well with us. Joseph went through lots of tribulations, trials, tests, and temptations to prepare him for the future. When the time came for God to glorify him, He made him the prime minister of Egypt (Genesis 41:40-41).

Beloved brethren, are you going through tough times in the Lord? If so, just go through with all patience. Continue to hope, apply our faith, and love Jesus Christ for the good work He is doing in our life, and very soon He will see us through the hard times. Then we will graduate to our time of fruitfulness and enjoyment. Brethren, the secret to going through the tough times is rejoicing and praising God (Philippians 4:4). Never complain or murmur because it will only make our situation worse, and we become ungrateful to God. However, if we rejoice and praise God in the difficult times, a miraculous atmosphere is created for us, to press on till we embrace our reward.

In essence, the opening Scriptures is simply emphasizing that those who fear God and walk in His ways will experience tremendous blessings, happiness within, and sense of contentment that can't be found elsewhere.

Let's Us Pray,

Our ever faithful and loving Father, we praise and thank You Lord for Your very reassuring Word. Please fill our mouths and hearts with Your praise so that we can continually praise You and rejoice in You, especially in tough times till we embrace our reward. I was in a relationship with a boy when I found out I was going to have a baby , his parents made him deny the pregnancy Then, they sent him to America, leaving me all alone with my pregnancy.

Two months later, I met another man. He chose to be with me, even though I was going to have a baby from someone else. He took care of me until the baby was born.

After my baby was born, he helped me go to a training school. He paid for everything. Now, we have been together for five years. My family knows him well, and he plans to ask for my hand in marriage in three months.

But then, the father of my child came back. He said he was sorry and wants to be with me and his child again. I still have feelings for him. He might take me to America, which sounds like a great chance for me.

I want to go back to him, but I worry about hurting the man who has been by my side. How can I tell him without making him feel betrayed and sad?

He has done a lot for me, but I cant pretend that he is my true love, because in my heart, he is not the one for me.

A MARRIED WOMAN IS SENDING NÜ>D£S TO MY HUSBAND

Greetings aunty mufulira,

I feel lost and don't know where to start. I am a student and I have a 6-month-old baby with my husband. When I say husband, it means he has done all the traditional steps for marriage, and we will have a church wedding soon. But I asked him to slow down and wait a bit more.

My problem is that I am 23 years old and he is 35. Every time he is at home, he is on his phone. He only puts it down when he needs to eat or shower. Our life feels very old-fashioned. He never sits down to talk or have fun.

When I ask him who he spends time with on his phone, he says he is doing research. I accepted it, but yesterday when I entered the room with our son, he quickly hid his phone from me. When I went to him and took the phone, I saw he was writing to someone named "Gerald." He was planning to meet her. Suddenly, he took the phone back, saying it was just a colleague.

He made me feel guilty for checking. To clear my doubts, I went into his WhatsApp while he was sleeping. I discovered that "Gerald" is actually a woman. We always have problems for the same reason. He promised to delete her number and block her, but last night I saw he just changed her name.

I recognized her from her profile picture. I am so upset because, to me, marriage is not everything. I can leave him and let him live his w!ld life. But then I think about my son. I always promised that if God gave me children, I would want to raise them with one man. Now, I am confused.

To make things worse, I found out that they met at ENAM, and she is married too. I wonder how a married woman can be so

HOW DO I TELL MY BOYFRIEND THAT HIS OLDER BROTHER R∆P£D ME WHILE HE WAS AWAY

I'm Janine, 18 years old, I'm going out with a 26 year old boy for 7 months now. He lives with his older brother who is over 35 years old in a two bedroom apartment.

The thing is, it’s been a while now, something completely strange happened to me. I was preparing for my boyfriend while he was at work like I normally do almost every week. His big brother was there, and it was on a Thursday.

I was in the kitchen when his brother came and started t0uch!ng me. I püshed him away as best I could, then he apologized and went to his room.

“10 YEARS OF LIES LUSAKA WOMAN DEVASTATED AFTER DISCOVERING LOVER’S SECRET FAMILY OF 7”

In a shocking tale of heartbreak and betrayal, a Lusaka woman has shared how her decade-long relationship with a police officer came crashing down after she discovered he had fathered seven children with different women across Zambia. The truth, she says, came not from the man she loved but from a kind-hearted maid who could no longer bear to see her in the dark.

Speaking through tears, the woman revealed she started dating the officer at the end of Grade 9 and had spent the last 10 years believing she was the love of his life. “I used to spend weeks at his house, cleaning, cooking, and supporting him like a wife,” she said. “I thought I knew everything about him, but the reality was that I knew nothing.”

The shocking revelation began with whispers from the maid, who felt sorry for the unsuspecting woman. “The maid pulled me aside one day and said, ‘Mama, please, don’t hate me, but you need to know the truth.
