After years of building, developing and nurturing young football talent, Modern Skills Academy is now ready to take another major step in its football journey.
Established in 2017, Modern Skills Academy has spent the years competing in developmental leagues, with the main focus being on identifying, developing and preparing young players for the future. The academy has remained committed to its philosophy of giving young footballers an opportunity to grow, compete and pursue their dreams through football.
Now, a new chapter begins.
Modern Skills Academy will participate in the Copperbelt Division Four Transition Season.
This is more than just entering another competition. It represents a significant milestone in the history of the academy β a transition from primarily developmental football to the serious pursuit of promotion through the football league structure.
The journey will not be easy, but every great journey begins with a first step.
For Modern Skills Academy, that first step is Division Four.
From there, the ambition is clear:
Division Four,Division Three,Division Two, Division One,National League then Super League.
The road ahead will demand patience, discipline, commitment, investment and, above all, consistency. There will be victories, setbacks, lessons and challenges along the way. But after years of developing players and building the foundation, Modern Skills Academy believes the time has come to compete for something bigger.
This is the beginning of the fight for league football.
The academy's developmental years have not been wasted. They have provided the foundation, experience and identity upon which this next chapter will be built.
