CONSTITUENCY TOUR UPDATE.
19th June 2022
I want to thank God and the people of Mpika for the successful tour we have had in the past week. It has been an eventful journey, filled with inspiration and hope as we witnessed the remarkable spirit of our Constituency.
After conclusion of the tour, we returned to Lusaka today, and upon our arrival, I was in attendance of the parliamentary committee sitting earlier today.
Throughout our tour, we had the opportunity to visit five wards and engage with the incredible people of Mpika. The warmth and hospitality we received were truly heartwarming.
During the tour, we donated a total of 111 soccer balls to encourage sportsmanship and youth development.
Moreover, we distributed four wheelchairs and 49 hospital blankets to the Mukungule and Katibunga health facilities. It was our sincere effort to improve the quality of care provided to patients and contribute to their comfort during their stay.
Additionally, we had the privilege to connect with our elderly citizens. We distributed 10 bundles of used blankets to ensure they have warmth and comfort during the colder months. Our senior citizens deserve all the love and care.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who welcomed us with open arms during our tour. Your warm reception and honest conversations have provided invaluable insights into the unique challenges faced by our community.
