Cavil's superman may not have been comic accurate but it appealed to modern men , was relatable and carried a realist perspective of how people would really view superman.
David's superman may not have been completely relatable to modern men but it appeals to a younger audience , expresses "Hope" ,shows the Morden political and media struggles superman faces while doing good.

Yes , if the movie wasn't relatable to you ... do not go around hating on it and arguing with people that relate to it just coz you don't relate to it. It's just fiction... lets not hate each other because of it

Instead Let's appreciate that we got these two versions inspite of there flaws.
