PEACE & SECURITY IN LUMWANA

Today, Hon. Mathews Mashimango, accompanied by Lumwana Constituency Chairman Mr. H. Ngwajila, Chairlady Madam Jane Chimese, and Alderman Peter Kikatula, visited Kakaindu Police Station to engage the police on peace and security.

The engagement focused on strengthening cooperation between leadership, police and other stakeholders to maintain peace, safety and unity across Lumwana Constituency and Kalumbila District.

Kalumbila Town Council Chairperson, His Worship Shadrick Munjunga, has today handed over a newly constructed 1Γ—4 classroom block at Kisasa Secondary School, constructed under the Ward Development Fund (WDF).

Speaking during the handover ceremony, His Worship the Council Chairperson reaffirmed that the Kalumbila Town Council, in partnership with the UPND administration, remains committed to upgrading schools and ensuring that children have access to quality, free education.

PROJECT HANDOVER - MUSELE WARD

This morning, His Worship Shadrick Munjunga, Kalumbila Town Council Chairperson, graced the official opening ceremony of a 1Γ—3 classroom block in Musele wardas Guest of Honour.

The ceremony was also attended by UPND party officials and other community stakeholders.

District DEBS Mr. Lungu Thomson delivered words of thanks and appreciation for the provision of the new classroom infrastructure.

A pupil also took to the podium to deliver a heartfelt word of thanks to the Guest of Honour and the leadership for supporting the school and contributing to a better learning environment.
