When Booking a DJ :

1. Don't ask if he/she can pull out a larger crowd, never ask that.

That's being disrespectful. A DJ got none to do with pulling larger
crowd, your marketing strategy does.

2. If you have a problem with their ratings, book someone whom you
comfty with and who's not gonna disappoint.

3. Don't ask "Are you better than this DJ or that DJ". Comparism for
what? It aint a competition right? It's business and all DJs are unique
in their own way.

4. Real DJs take their jobs very seriously, so never make fun or jokes
when booking them. Business convo, that's all.

5. Don't ask what kinda music they play. Since you're the one booking
them, you should be following their timelines and downloading their
mixtapes. Now, that's real business righ there.

6. Not all DJs are famous, and that doesn't mean they aint good in
what they do. Give the "unpopular DJs" some platform to prove
themselves, a chance that is.

7. Make sure your sound connection is well connected, CDJs are on
point. Remember, a DJ needs to enjoy the set before the crowd does.
You don't wanna lose a good business relation because of small stupid
mistakes❤️!!!

​Let's talk real Zambia Club Etiquette 101! 🇿🇲
​Shouting at the DJ, demanding they "play your song or leave," is a total vibe killer. 🚩 A good DJ's job isn't just to be a human jukebox; it's to read the entire room and build a vibe that keeps everyone on the dancefloor.
​Trust the process! They are there to make the party last, not clear the floor with one random request.
​Here's how to actually get your song played and keep the party going:
​✅ Be Polite & Patient: A simple "Please, can you play [Song Title] later?" works wonders. Don't rush them.
​✅ Read the Room: Is the DJ playing a hot Amapiano set? Don't go requesting slow R&B. Match the energy!
​✅ Appreciate the Mix: Enjoy the other tracks while you wait. You might discover your new favorite song.
​❌ NEVER Touch The Equipment: This is the #1 rule. Don't be that person. Ever.
​🙌 Support Local Talent: We have some of the best DJs in Africa! Show them love, appreciate their craft, and let them do their magic.
