A young lady from Mutumbi Foxdale has been reported missing for the past two days after leaving home following a small misunderstanding with her parents. Since then, the family has not heard from her and they are deeply concerned about her safety and wellbeing.

The family is appealing to members of the public who may have seen her or who may have any information regarding her whereabouts to kindly come forward and assist.

Each morning, before the day’s work begins, the community comes together to share a meal nshima served with fish, chicken, beef, and a variety of vegetables. This daily act of fellowship not only nourishes the body but also strengthens the bonds that keep the station running in harmony.

This culture of togetherness is guided by dedicated leadership. Mr. Nicolas Banda, widely known as Father and serving as Chairman, alongside his Vice Chairman Mr. Christopher Nenguke, popularly called Iliyonse-Iliyonse, continue to lead with humility and purpose. Their leadership has fostered an environment where respect, discipline, and cooperation thrive among all members.

Beyond ensuring order, they consistently mentor drivers and bus conductors on the importance of delivering quality service to passengers and treating everyone with dignity. Bus drivers, conductors, and marketeers came together in a spirited celebration of Labour Day, as seen in the video below, marching from town to the Freedom Statue in a vibrant display of unity and solidarity. The procession was led by Chairman Nicolas Banda, popularly known as “FATHER,” alongside Vice Chairman Christopher Nenguke, whose leadership inspired a strong sense of togetherness and pride among participants.
