Lusaka Muslim Youth LMY Covers Muslim Sisters Association Dawah Program
By Sheikh Hassan Kabwe
Lusaka, Zambia. Lusaka Muslim Youth (LMY) had the honor of covering the monthly Dawah program organized by the Muslim Sisters Association, an initiative that continues to encourage Muslimah across Zambia to actively attend and participate in Dawah activities.
The gathering was filled with meaningful discussions and educational presentations that inspired many. A highlight of the session came from the delegation of Al-Furqan Masjid, who delivered Surah Al-Fatihah in four different languages Arabic, Nyanja, Swahili, and English leaving participants amazed by the beauty and universality of the Qur’an’s message.
LMY’s sister Amina also interacted with attendees to learn what key lessons they had taken from the program. Participants expressed that they had gained valuable knowledge, including:
1. The importance of wearing proper hijab.
2. Embracing Islamic norms and values in daily life.
3. The need to report cases of defilement experienced by themselves or their children.
4. Constant remembrance of Allah in everything we do.
The session was both uplifting and transformative, and attendees left with renewed faith and practical knowledge to apply in their daily lives.
LMY continues to be dedicated to covering Islamic programs across Zambia, ensuring that such moments of spiritual growth and community empowerment are shared widely. We encourage everyone to attend future Dawah programs or send a family member to benefit from these gatherings of knowledge and remembrance.
📅 Next Session: 14th September at Taqwa Masjid
May Allah bless these efforts and guide us all to His path.
