Nigeria and South Africa still have a chance to qualify for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup through the playoffs.

The four teams eliminated in the quarter-finals will enter a playoff tournament, where they will be paired into semi-finals. The winners will then representing Africa at FIFA’s intercontinental playoffs for a place at the World Cup finals.

So, they still have a chance , but it is a long route to the World Cup that nobody likes.
