Dear Leaders, Elders, and Parents,(Mwebakulu)

Please do not feel intimidated by the younger generation. Instead, take pride in the fact that we are approaching things differently this time around.

We want to assure you that we are not here to fight or sideline you , we are here to contribute to the positive change we all desire. We seek to walk this journey under your guidance and wisdom.

Do not resist the natural course of change. Embrace it. Let it happen organically.

We come with love, unity, joy and above all, with fresh ideas and better solutions.

With utmost respect and gratitude,

🟡 Saddened by the Situation in Mufumbwe 😏

I’m deeply concerned and saddened by the recent deaths and ongoing conflicts in Mufumbwe surrounding gold mining activities. This should not be happening in our country.

It’s time we start treating our mineral resources with the same seriousness we give to our agricultural produce. I strongly believe Zambia needs something like a Mineral Marketing Authority, an FRA for Minerals.

Just like the Food Reserve Agency (FRA) buys maize from local farmers, the government should also buy minerals like gold directly from citizens who find them.

This approach would:
✅ Ensure safety and order
✅ Empower local communities
✅ Promote transparency and accountability
✅ Help the country benefit more from its natural wealth

Those who choose to sell minerals outside the formal system should face the full force of the law. Our people deserve peace, security, and an opportunity to benefit fairly from their own land.

Let’s fix this. Let’s protect our people. Let’s do better.

My Reflection on the ECL Eligibility Case Judgment

Friends and Family, especially my fellow Youths. Yesterday’s judgment, which upholds the Constitution, reaffirms the principle that a presidential term is limited to two terms and that there is no provision for a third term, and this must be respected.

This same principle of limiting how long one can hold office should also be applied to other political positions, such as parliamentary and mayoral offices. These roles should not become lifetime positions but should allow for rotation and fresh leadership.

It is equally disheartening to see that out of the millions of people we have in zambia the entire opposition could not identify or groom a capable successor to the former president, Mr. Edgar Chagwa Lungu . This lack of succession planning reflects poorly on both Mr. Lungu and the opposition.

Leaders must focus on preparing the next generation to take over rather than clinging to power or attempting to fix the system for a third or more terms.

As youths, we should be more concerned. The fact that some of us are even championing the idea of Mr. Lungu’s return for a third term is worrying. What does that say about us? When will it be our turn if we continue to push for leaders to stay in office indefinitely?

This is why some positions continue to have the same people in office for extended periods — because potential successors are not groomed to take charge but are instead trained to remain in supportive roles(mostly as Cadres)

We seriously need to align ourselves with opportunities for leadership and actively prepare to step into these roles.

Let this also serve as a lesson to today's leaders—whether in companies, churches, or organizations etc: groom and mentor others to take over when your time comes to an end.

Leadership is not about staying in power indefinitely; it’s about building a legacy that outlives your tenure. Otherwise the Constitution is clear: elected twice, sworn in twice. What more are we asking for with a third term?😂🤦

My fellow Youths, Let’s embrace the call for renewal and prepare ourselves for the future. Leadership must be dynamic, inclusive, and forward-looking.
The time for the youth to rise is yesterday. Takwaba na imbi time.

TOGETHER WE CAN DEFEND OUR CONSTITUTION
