Empowering the Future, The Launch of the Children of Zimbabwe Liberation War Veterans Association's Empowerment Scheme

The Children of Zimbabwe Liberation War Veterans Association (CZLWVA) is set to embark on a transformative journey with the launch of its Empowerment Scheme, a strategic initiative dedicated to uplifting the youth of war veterans. This momentous occasion will take place on June 2, 2025, at the Midlands Winery Convention Center in Gweru.

The event promises to be a significant gathering, featuring keynote addresses from influential leaders, including Minister Sen M. Mavhunga and Honourable Owen Ncube, Minister of Midlands Province.

CZLWVA Chairman Cde Phineas Makombe warmly invites all children of war veterans to attend this historic launch. The ceremony will also be graced by the distinguished Guest of Honor, Dr. Paul Tungwarara, and Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa Jr., the Patron for CZLWVA. The Empowerment Scheme is designed to honor the legacy of Zimbabwe's freedom fighters by providing the children of these heroes with the necessary tools and resources to foster personal growth and community development.

Central to this initiative is President Emmerson Mnangagwa's transformative Vision 2030, which seeks to propel Zimbabwe towards upper middle-income status by the year 2030. In his message, President Mnangagwa emphasizes the importance of inclusivity and empowerment for all Zimbabweans, particularly the youth.

A Call to Discernment from the Children of Zimbabwe Liberation War Veterans Association

In the ever-changing political landscape of Zimbabwe, it is our responsibility as a nation to remain vigilant and steadfast against any actions that threaten our progress and stability. As a collective voice of the Children of Zimbabwe Liberation War Veterans Association (CZLWVA), we urge all members and the wider community to abstain from participating in the planned demonstration scheduled for March 31st. This event, driven by opportunistic organizers, seeks to sow discord and undermine the economic growth we have achieved as a nation.

The history of Zimbabwe is rich with the sacrifices of our forefathers who fought selflessly during the liberation struggle. They laid down their lives to secure our freedom, sovereignty, and the right to govern ourselves. It is crucial for us to remember the hardships endured by those brave men and women in their quest for independence. Our parents, the war veterans, faced insurmountable challenges and adversities to ensure that we enjoy the freedoms we have today. Engaging in demonstrations that could undermine our progress is a disservice to their legacy.

Cde Samhembere, the National Secretary for Information of CZLWVA, emphasized that members must not be swayed by individuals with ulterior motives who aim to destabilize the party and the nation at large. He articulated the necessity of defending our country and the principles that our party stands for. We must guard against becoming pawns in the dangerous game of those who exploit political unrest for their own gain.

We must rise above violence and chaos, choosing instead to unite in support of our constitutionally elected leaders and the trajectory they have set for our nation. Our loyalty should lie with the ideals of peace, stability, and unity, which are essential for the continuity of national development.

ZANU PF Masvingo to construct new admin offices
_Masvingo, March 17, 2025(CZLWVA)_ – Zimbabwe African National Union Patriotic Front
(ZANU PF) Masvingo province is set to construct a 10 000-seater conference, lodges and new
administration offices a national member of CZLWVA said on Monday.

The donation of the building materials in Clovelly at the party stand had senior government
officials, senior party members, youth league representatives and affiliates of the ruling party
ZANU PF.

The national secretary for Finance for the Children of Zimbabwe Liberation War Veterans
Association (CZLWVA), Cde Muteuri Madovi said the conference center will have the capacity to
hold major ZANU PF events and conferences.

He said, ‘The construction of the 10 000-seater conference will also enhance party organs and
affiliates administration as it will have requisite offices and stationery’

The President of Zimbabwe Cde ED Mnangagwa donated the building materials through his
special advisor Dr Paul Tungwarara represented by the Minister of State for Provincial Affairs
and Devolution for Masvingo Province, Honorable Ezra Chadzamira to ZANU PF Masvingo
Province leadership today.

Honorable Ezra Chadzamira handed over the donation to the ZANU PF provincial Chairman
Senator Robson Mavhenyengwa at Clovelly and the building material will be used to facilitate the
building of lodges, conference center and offices for the party.

The donation consisted of 600 bags of cement, 10 000 bricks, roofing materials, window panes
and door frames.

The new offices are being constructed in Clovelly which is along Masvingo to Bulawayo Road
west side of Masvingo.

ZANU PF Masvingo Province after this success will be fully capacitated to hold big conferences
with this being a milestone in the development of the party and the nation at large

ZANU PF does not have permanent offices in Masvingo and by the construction of the new Provincial headquarters it will be a great milestone for the ruling party.

The Chairman of Children of Zimbabwe Liberation War Veteran Association, who also serves as the Secretary for Legal Affairs in the Zanu PF Party Youth League Cde Phinias Makombe, recently met with members of the Children of Zimbabwe Liberation War Veterans Association. The meeting took place at the Zanu PF Youth League Inter-District gathering, held at Gokwe Center in the Midlands Province.

The meeting aimed to discuss various issues affecting the children of liberation war veterans and explore ways to address their concerns.

As an affiliate of the Zanu Pf Party, the Children of Zimbabwe Liberation War Veteran Association seeks to promote the interests Zanu Pf Party and welfare of its members.

The meeting at Gokwe Center was an opportunity for the association's members to engage with their leadership and discuss issues pertinent to their lives. The Chairman's presence underscored the importance of the association's work and commitment to supporting the children of liberation war veterans.

_CZLWVA attends Masvingo Youth Interdistrict Meeting_

The Masvingo Youth Interdistrict meeting, held at Great Zimbabwe University, was a resounding success, bringing together top dignitaries and youth leaders to unveil empowerment packages for the young people of Masvingo Province. The event was graced by Cde Hon Paradza, Deputy Secretary for Youth, as the Guest of Honour.

The Minister of State, Cde Ezra Chadzamira, and Provincial Chairman ZANU PF, Cde Robson Mavhenyengwa, were also present at the event, demonstrating their commitment to empowering the youth. Cde Gift Muhomba, National Secretary for External Affairs, attended the interdistrict meeting, lending his support to Cde Manyanga, Masvingo Province Political Commissar who is also provincial chairman for the Children of Zimbabwe Liberation War Veterans Association (CZLWVA).

The CZLWVA was well-represented, with members and leaders from Masvingo Province in attendance, including National Secretary for Finance Cde Madovi and National Member Cde Charty.
