How has job seeking been for you in Zim. Honestly, I feel as though recruiters don't even open our emails or CVs. With the rate of corruption in Zim, we all know that they probably already have their prefered candidate for the position (the boss' relative or something aka chestirwa😂). Btw, I'm not accusing all companies of being corrupt, it's just an assumption or me thinking out loud🙊. I hope it don't get me in trouble.
Anyway, job seeking in this cowntry is not child's play😩. You will send out more than 50 CVs, no response! What?! At lease tell me "you regret to inform me that there is no vacancy or we have already found a suitable candidate.." SAY SOMETHING! PLEASE!
I literally went to an interview and they didn't even have the courtesy to inform that I didn't make it😭.. please be fair to us job seekers, our only crime is being jobless.
We are already going through a lot of stress, emotional distress, family palava, depression, you name it. Not getting a response is the last thing we need. When you've been job hunting for long, a "we regret to inform you.." will be good news, trust me because at least they acknowledged my application and/or interview efforts 😩.
I just needed to vent, sorry not sorry.
Prayer for job seekers:
Dear Heavenly Father, our all knowing and timeless Father. You know our hearts, troubles, fears, wants and needs. Lord, please, we ask that you look our side, us the jobless. Have mercy and bless us with jobs. We all need these jobs for different reasons, but Lord whatever reason it maybe, take us out of this shame. Some of us have become laughing stocks, they ask us, "where is your God?" Lord we shall not reply them because the best response would be you doing what only you can do!
Come to our rescue. As we send our CVs this week, we pray for answered prayers: job acceptance and interview invitations. Our stories will take a beautiful turn. Our stories will be positively different this week. Do what you've never done before and what only you can do, the I AM THAT I AM. Lord, you've come through for me, us and others before, you can do it again! I believe.
We pray all this in faith and agreement. Thank you for what you're about to do in the lives of many!
