Malaika Mushandu breaks her silence through legal action, with a court application filed at the High Court in Harare.
In her application, Mushandu argues that the process leading to her dethronement was procedurally flawed and violated principles of natural justice. She states that after being crowned, on June 6, 2026, she was called to what she understood to be an ordinary meeting days after, only to discover that it was allegedly a disciplinary hearing concerning claims that she had left the stage prematurely following her coronation and subsequently became unavailable...

Walter Mzembi Applies To Rejoin Mnangagwa’s Zanu PF

Former Tourism Minister Walter Mzembi has applied to rejoin ZANU PF, nearly nine years after his membership was terminated following the 2017 political transition that ended Robert Mugabe's rule. ZANU PF sources in Masvingo revealed at the weekend that Mzembi submitted an application letter indicating his willingness to rejoin the ruling party and contribute to its activities. The sources said the application was tabled before the Masvingo Provincial Executive Council (PEC) during a meeting held at Masvingo Polytechnic. Mzembi was once a prominent figure within the G40 faction and served as Tourism Minister before being moved to the Foreign Affairs portfolio during the bitter internal power struggle between G40 and the Lacoste faction....

MADZIBABA ENOCK (Hebert SENDA) ACCUSED OF REPEATEDLY RA**NG 21-YEAR-OLD WOMAN

A 21-year-old woman has reported Budiriro religious leader Madzibaba Enock, identified as Hebert Senda, to police, accusing him of repeatedly ra**ng her over a period of more than a year.

Senda reportedly leads the Johane Masowe Yechishanu, Nyenyedzi Nomwe Sect in Budiriro 4, Harare.

According to the complainant’s statement to police, she initially went to the shrine seeking spiritual assistance and was allegedly advised to remain at the religious site for continued prayers.

She alleges that the first incident occurred in July 2025 when a female church member woke her during the night and took her to a vehicle where Senda was waiting.

The woman claims she was given a drink that made her feel dizzy before Senda allegedly drove her to a lodge in Harare’s central business district.

She alleges that the female church member booked a room and took her inside before leaving after Senda arrived.

According to the complainant, Senda then allegedly r***d her several times and threatened to kill her if she disclosed the alleged abuse.

She further alleges that the sexual abuse continued on other occasions, with Senda allegedly taking advantage of circumstances at the shrine to assault her.

The woman reportedly later regained access to her mobile phone and contacted her sister, who assisted her in reporting the matter to police.

The case was reported at Budiriro Police Station under RRB number 6872764.

The allegations have not been tested in court, and Senda remains presumed innocent unless proven guilty.

Kelsea Tafirenyika, through her lawyers, has apologised to First Lady Auxillia

Mnangagwa over what they described as a “regrettable escalation” surrounding her case. She said she was sorry that the public discussion had become disrespectful to the First Lady and the First Family.

Kelsea said she never intended to disrespect or scandalise the First Family and insisted that she had not dragged the First Lady’s name into the matter. Her lawyers blamed “opportunists, detractors and adversaries” for creating the link and using the case to spread damaging stories about the First Family.

She also apologised for the controversy surrounding the First Family while she was defending herself against the money-laundering charges she is facing.

Kelsea said she wants an amicable solution to the dispute and is willing to engage with the First Lady to address any concerns. She said she had reflected on what happened, had learned from the experience and hoped that respectful dialogue could bring the matter to an end.

Her lawyers also defended their actions, saying they were simply following Kelsea’s instructions and presenting the same defence she gave to investigators before she was charged with money laundering. They said they had acted professionally and were only doing their duty as her lawyers.
