It's said that engagement pays off and I agree. I however feel there is more to it now, after the recent fb update. What could have changed?

This is a pic from my 2nd page which has way less engagement than this one. I've however noticed that my 2nd is earning way better than this one. Why?
May I please have tips on how I can improve my earning rate too 👏❤️
