🚨 FUEL PRICES HIT AGAIN IN ZIM! ⛽🇿🇼

Zimbabweans are feeling the heat as fuel prices have gone up for the third time in just 30 days!
📅 The latest increase kicked in on 2 April 2026, following earlier hikes on 4 March and 18 March.
💰 New Prices:
Petrol: US$2.23 per litre ⬆️
Diesel: US$2.11 per litre ⬆️
Just two weeks ago, petrol was US$2.17 and diesel US$2.05 — meaning prices keep climbing non-stop 📈
🔥 What’s going on?
Authorities say global fuel costs are rising, putting pressure on local prices.
👉 Government stepped in by removing all taxes on diesel (worth 54 cents) to keep it at $2.11 — otherwise it could’ve hit a crazy $2.65 per litre!
👉 Petrol still carries heavy taxes (about 86 cents per litre)
📦 Supply Update:
Good news — officials say Zimbabwe currently has over 3 months of fuel supply in reserve, so no shortages for now. They’re also opening new supply routes to avoid disruptions linked to the Middle East situation🌍

⚠️ What to expect next:
Petrol prices might go down soon with increased ethanol blending (E20)
Diesel prices are being controlled to protect key sectors like transport, farming & mining.
