We met with Simba a 26 year old man who says he uses and abuses drugs like ma*****na and skunk. Simba says the major cause for his abuse of drugs is idleness and his unemployment. He also noted that mental health issues like stress also lead him to take drugs. He says drugs may have caused problems in his household but he cannot really confirm as he will be out of his senses. Simba thinks that he can be able to quit drugs once he find something to do with his time like getting job. When he was asked if he is open to go for rehabilitation, he said it's something he is will to do.
We talked to the Chairperson of Simba's community and he immediately gave Simba a job to safeguard tent classrooms that were donated in the area.

We have seen that the use of drugs by our youths is mainly because of unemployment. Idle hands always find some mischief to do. We are encouraging young men and women to engage in different community activities like joining football clubs, start small things like selling snacks, join a church and even volunteer to do socialwork. It doesn't do any good to to destroy ourlives whilst we wait for job opportunities.

Community members kindly support the youth by giving them small part time jobs. That would go a long way.

Hello Family and Friends. Focus is mainly given to things that are seemingly full of life. No one wants to burden themselves with topics that bring discomfort or that expose them. Whilst we talk about lifestyle and glitters, who is talking about the unfed children in the streets of our CBDs, and in our various neighbourhoods and what action are we taking after talking about them. How about the burdened women. Can we shift our focus to their plight of taking care of children or even themselves. Who's ready for a good cause? A very important group of people, close to my heart are the marginalised addicts. Neglected by family and labelled "outcasts". Have we given up on them people? What can we do and can be done.

Here I will be engaging with these three groups, bring them to your attention and somewhat speak for them until action is taken.

Join me on this noble cause!!!!
