there was a time when I thought some people leaving my life meant something was wrong with me.

I would ask myself questions.

“Did I offend them?”
“Did I make a mistake?”
“Should I call them and explain myself?”
“Maybe I should fight to keep this relationship?”

😂😂 Ndakazodzidza hangu!

Some doors you are praying God to reopen are the same doors God is thanking Himself that He closed!

Years later, I looked back at certain friendships, relationships and opportunities I desperately wanted to keep, and suddenly understood why God allowed them to end.

I wasn't being rejected. I was being redirected.

The painful part is that when God separates you from something, He doesn't always immediately show you what He's protecting you from.

So you cry over people.

You chase people.

You explain yourself to people who have already decided to misunderstand you.

You even pray, God, bring them back! 😭

Meanwhile Heaven is saying, “My child, if only you knew what I know!”

Mwari vanoziva zvausingazive shamwari!

Today, some of the people I once thought I couldn't survive without are no longer part of my life…

And surprisingly, I survived.

I grew.

I became wiser.

I became stronger.

And most importantly, I discovered that when God is with you, losing people does not mean losing your future.

Joseph lost his brothers but found a palace.

David lost Saul's favour but found a throne.

Sometimes what feels like rejection today will make sense when you see where God is taking you tomorrow.

So here's my prayer for somebody reading this:

May God give you the courage to stop chasing what He has already removed.

And may you live long enough to look back at what once broke your heart and say:

“NOW I UNDERSTAND WHY GOD DIDN'T LET IT WORK!”

Your rejection will become REDIRECTION.

Your disappointment will become an APPOINTMENT.

And what you thought was the end will become the beginning of something greater.

May your life become the evidence that people cannot stop the purpose of God! 🔥

Funny story, years ago, a pastor prophesied to my wife,then girlfriend that this relationship was not good for her and she was warned about me by the pastor.

Hazvisi zvese zvinonzi zvabva kuna Mwari zvabvako! Gara uchishamwaridzana naye Mwari uchibvunzawo kuti koava vandiudza izvo zvabva kwamuri here?

Funny story futi, that pastor was married and a year or 2 after his marriage was on the rocks ,only got to know this because he also received a prophecy publicly of the fights he was always and regurlay having with his wife!

We are in our 11th year with my wife,and bu His grace,grace alone,i dont remember having a fight,i dont remember beating this girl up,i dont have any memory of needing counselling! Maybe later but so far no!
