Our beloved President, Cde Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, has saluted Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan for her “victory” in the recently held election. In his congratulatory message, President Mnangagwa praised her leadership, saying the results show that the people of Tanzania have faith in her continued guidance.
He extended warm wishes to President Hassan and the people of Tanzania, highlighting the strong bonds between the two nations and their shared commitment to regional unity and development.
However, many observers have described the election as one-sided, raising questions about fairness and transparency. Despite the criticism, more congratulatory messages from other SADC leaders are expected, as the region once again rallies behind one of its own.
Mama Samia, often called “Mama Dictator” by her critics, remains firmly on the throne — a reminder that in Africa, political loyalty often outweighs democratic reform.
