BULAWAYO — A Bulawayo High Court judge was forced to abandon a courtroom and relocate a murder trial after a stray cat took refuge under the judicial bench and aggressively resisted removal by law enforcement officers.

The bizarre disruption occurred during a special sitting on June 3, 2026, during the trial of 19-year-old Bright Tshuma, who was subsequently convicted and sentenced to 20 years in prison for a fatal stabbing.

According to the NPAZ, the incident began when a brown stray cat wandered into the courtroom and emitted an "ear-piercing wail," halting the proceedings. The presiding judge called for a brief adjournment and instructed police to remove the crying animal.

Efforts to evict the feline quickly escalated into a chaotic scene. A total of nine people—four police officers, four prison guards, and a court caretaker—attempted to force the cat out of the room. The commotion attracted a crowd of amused bystanders to the courtroom doors, which authorities noted appeared to spook the animal, causing it to dash from the accused person's dock and wedge itself beneath the judge's table.

The bulletin stated that the cat reacted in a "hostile manner" to any further extraction attempts. Conceding the "hostile takeover" of the space, court officials abandoned the room entirely, and the trial was moved to a different courtroom to continue.

Following the relocation, the trial of Bright Tshuma concluded. Tshuma, a resident of Nkulumane, Bulawayo, faced a murder charge resulting from an incident in which he stabbed the deceased with a Colombia CCCP AK47 knife. At the conclusion of the full trial, he was found guilty and handed a 20-year custodial sentence.

Breaking 🚨 Mozambique blocks 5,000 South African 🇿🇦 trucks from passing through their country due to xenophobia, reports say. Electricity supply might also be cut off next.

This comes as a response to xenophobic tensions in South Africa 🇿🇦, where African foreigners are being abused and accused of being illegal, even with proper documents. Swaziland 🇸🇿 is also paying attention to the situation and might cut off their water supply too. More reports are coming in.

South Africa 🇿🇦 is a country targeted by Satan and all demons 😈 to make its people suffer throughout their lives. However, only those blessed with wisdom can understand this.💔
