Professor Kuzvinetsa Peter Dzvimbo, the Chief Executive Officer of the Zimbabwe Council for Higher Education, ZIMCHE.
Professor Dzvimbo is a renowned academic, education administrator and thought leader whose vast experience in higher education has significantly contributed to the advancement of quality assurance, research, innovation and institutional excellence in Zimbabwe and across the region.
As Chairperson of ZIMCHE, he provides strategic leadership in promoting quality, relevance and innovation in higher and tertiary education, ensuring that universities continue to produce graduates, research and innovations that respond to the country's developmental aspirations.
His presence at the Zimbabwe Open University's Inaugural Research and Innovation Week reflects the importance of strengthening collaboration among institutions of higher learning in advancing research that supports Vision 2030, the National Development Strategy 2 (NDS2), Education 5.0, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
