A Zimbabwean family has been found dead in the UK, and police say the children's father is now the prime suspect.

Forty-two-year-old Zandile Tshuma and her daughters, 15-year-old Natalie and 5-year-old Nala, were discovered at their home in Bedford after officers carried out a welfare check.

Police say 45-year-old Ndodana "Mark" Tshuma left Britain on Saturday, flying from Heathrow Airport to Zimbabwe shortly before the bodies were found. An international search is now underway, with authorities urging him to surrender and asking anyone with information to contact police.

Friends say the couple had been planning to divorce after months of marital problems, but detectives say the investigation is still ongoing.

The Ministry of Finance has introduced a “national standard price list” for goods and services supplied to Govt, a measure meant to avoid overcharging by suppliers.

Government says it will give priority to locally sourced goods, and that “payments to local suppliers will be made solely in the local currency.”

However, the Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe says it continues to quote prices in US dollars. It says this is necessary to provide “a uniform reference framework” and reduce “pricing distortions” caused by currency conversion.
