*Chapter* 22
Five years had passed since that fateful night on the hill. Ivy and Irene sat in the church's courtyard, sipping tea and chatting like old friends. Ivy had forgiven Irene for her past transgressions, and Irene had spent the past five years seeking redemption and salvation.
"I'm so grateful to have found my way back to God," Irene said, her eyes shining with tears. "I was so lost, Ivy. I was consumed by my own ambition and greed."
Ivy reached out and took Irene's hand. "We all make mistakes, Irene," she said. "But it takes courage to admit them and seek forgiveness. You've come a long way, and I'm proud of you."
Irene smiled, feeling a sense of peace and closure. "I couldn't have done it without your forgiveness, Ivy," she said. "You showed me that there's always hope for redemption, no matter how far we've fallen."
As they chatted, the church's doors opened, and a group of people filed out. They were all smiling and chatting, and Irene's eyes lit up with excitement.
"What's going on?" she asked Ivy.
"It's our new outreach program," Ivy replied. "We're reaching out to the community, spreading the word of God and helping those in need."
Irene's face lit up with a smile. "I want to be a part of it," she said. "I want to help others find their way back to God, just like I did."
Ivy smiled, nodding in approval. "I think that's a wonderful idea, Irene," she said. "Welcome to the team."
*Irene*
I looked at Ivy,we were now after the service .
"Why are you looking at me ?" She asked
Me: im sorry once again my sister,im sorry i.was so envious of your life ,my greed, jealousy, destroyed your life, your marriage, you son's life too,im sorry ,i will always apologise till my last breath ,i shouldn't have stolen your life,i shouldn't have destroyed your home ,im sorry
Tears dropped from my eyes ,i was really sorry
I regret doing what i did to my sister .
The evil that i sought ,almost killed me ,if not for Ivy and the Pastor ,i don't know what would have become of me .

* *A New Beginning*
Nkululeko, Fadzi, and their son Thembelihle had moved to South Africa, settling in the beautiful province of KwaZulu-Natal. They had left behind the painful memories of their past, seeking a fresh start in a new land.
Their home was a cozy little house on the outskirts of Durban, with a stunning view of the Indian Ocean. Fadzi was busy in the kitchen, preparing dinner while Nkululeko played with Thembelihle in the living room.
Thembelihle was growing up fast, a bright and curious child who loved exploring the world around him. Nkululeko and Fadzi were proud parents, grateful for the blessing of their son.
As Fadzi cooked, she couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. She was pregnant again, expecting their second child in a few months' time.
Nkululeko came into the kitchen, Thembelihle perched on his shoulders. "Hey, my love," he said, giving Fadzi a kiss on the cheek. "How's dinner coming along?"
Fadzi smiled, rubbing her belly. "It's coming along fine," she said. "And I have some news to share with you."
Nkululeko's eyes lit up with excitement. "What is it?" he asked, setting Thembelihle down on the floor.
Fadzi took a deep breath, a smile spreading across her face. "I'm having twins," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Nkululeko's eyes widened in shock, and then a huge grin spread across his face. "Twins?" he exclaimed, scooping Fadzi into his arms. "Oh, my love, we're blessed!"
They kissed passionately.
This was all they had ever wanted,a peaceful life, lots of children.
Just as Nkululeko and Fadzi were celebrating the news of their twins, the doorbell rang. Nkululeko's father, the king, walked in, accompanied by Ivy, Irene, and Ian.
Nkululeko's expression changed immediately. He had not forgiven Irene for her past transgressions, and the sight of her brought back all the painful memories.
"What is she doing here?" Nkululeko asked, his voice cold and angry.
Ivy stepped forward, a look of concern on her face. "Nkululeko, please understand," she said. "Irene has changed. She's found God and is seeking redemption."
But Nkululeko was unmoved. "She stole me from you, Mother," he said, his voice trembling with rage. "She sacrificed Fadzi's pregnancies and tried to sacrifice my family on that hill. I'll never forgive her."
Irene took a step forward, tears streaming down her face. "Nkululeko, please forgive me," she begged. "I was blinded by my own ambition and greed. I didn't know what I was doing."
But Nkululeko turned his back on her. "Get out," he said, his voice cold and unforgiving. "Get out of my house and never come back."
The king stepped forward, a look of sadness on his face. "Nkululeko, my son," he said. "Please try to understand. Irene has changed. She's not the same person she used to be."
But Nkululeko was unmoved. "I don't care," he said. "She's not welcome in my home."
Irene nodded, tears still streaming down her face. "I understand," she said. "I'll leave."
As Irene turned to leave, Ivy reached out and took her hand. "We'll pray for you, Nkululeko," she said. "We'll pray that you'll find it in your heart to forgive Irene."
But Nkululeko just shook his head. "I don't know if I can ever forgive her," he said.
UZulu looked at his son ,he hugged him
"Its okay son, time heals ,im sorry that we brought her here, your mother wants you to fully be happy, without any negativity, and forgiving her,is regaining the happiness you are shutting out ", he said ,squeezing Nkululeko's shoulder .
Nkululeko: not now .
He went back to his wife ,and hugged her
They both cried together, they have healed that much .
Ivy watched this with tears in her eyes ,her son was really hurt .
"Im sorry,i will book into a hotel,be with them, they need you now more than ever,i shouldn't have shown my face to them", Irene said with an apologetic face
Ivy nodded.
Irene entered Zulu's car,and his guards dropped her off at a hotel
*Fadzi*
I'll never forget the day Irene walked into our home. I was cooking dinner, enjoying the quiet evening with my husband and son, when the doorbell rang. Nkululeko's father, the king, walked in with Ivy, Irene, and Ian.
As soon as I saw Irene, I felt a knot in my stomach. I had thought that I had forgiven her, that I had moved on from the pain and trauma she had caused us. But seeing her in our home, smiling and chatting like nothing was wrong, brought it all back.
I felt like I had been punched in the gut. All the memories came flooding back - the pain, the fear, the trauma. I couldn't believe she was standing in my home, acting like she was part of the family.
Nkululeko was hurt too. I could see the pain and anger in his eyes. He had never forgiven Irene for stealing him from his mother, for sacrificing our pregnancies and trying to sacrifice our family on that hill.
Ivy tried to comfort us, to tell us that Irene had changed. But it was hard to believe. We had been hurt too deeply, and the wounds were still raw.
"I know it's hard to forgive, Fadzi," Ivy said, taking my hand. "But Irene is not the same person she used to be. She's found God and is seeking redemption."
I looked at Ivy, searching for answers. Why was she defending Irene? Didn't she know how much we had suffered at her hands?
But Ivy's eyes were filled with compassion and understanding. "I know Irene hurt you, Fadzi," she said. "But she's my sister, and I love her. I want to help her find redemption."
I nodded, feeling a sense of understanding. Ivy was trying to help Irene, to bring her back from the darkness. And maybe, just maybe, it was possible.
I hope one day i will be able to forgive her ,she hurt me a lot .
Ma Ivy and Father Inlaw spent two days with us .
They left .
Ma was going back to Bulawayo with ma Irene and Uncle Ian .
"My love ,i love you very much ,and i thank you for being with me ,through thick and thin ," my husband said ,hugging me from behind .
He kissed me ,and caressed my belly .
"Thank you for giving me Thembelihle ,and the twins ,i can't wait to see them ,im wishing for girls ", he said .
I laughed real hard ,its the same thing my father said when i told him the good news on the phone .
Yaaa ,we are now very close ,and he remarried again, last year ,but this my new step mom is the best ever .She is prayerful person.
"Mama,im hungry", said my little man
I picked him up
"Okay my man,let me feed you"
