The driver of a Crandid Investments fuel tanker involved in a horrific road traffic accident that claimed 12 lives near the Sebakwe River along the Harare-Bulawayo highway last week is set to appear at the Kwekwe Magistrates Court on 25 June 2025 facing charges of culpable homicide and negligent driving. A Gokwe drug syndicate which was cultivating mbanje along Svisvi River bank in Village Kuruwa, Chief Nemangwe area was recently arrested following a tip off from the community. Police acted swiftly following the tip off and moved in to make an arrest with a village head, Joseph Kuruwa (43), mobilising a section of the community to attack police.Read more on ...

Five daring armed robbers pounced on a Redcliff family today around 1:30am after they broke into their home getting away with property worth US$2000.
The robbers it is said forced entry into 10 Quorn Road, Redcliff, the home of a gold miner Tafadzwa Mushikiri.
