Many Christians struggle financially because they've been taught that money is evil. However, money is a necessity, and Jesus himself paid temple tax, even instructing Peter to retrieve it from a fish (Matthew 17). Judas, a disciple and treasurer, shows that managing money isn't inherently wrong. The issue lies in the love of money, as 1 Timothy 6:10 states, "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil." Having money isn't evil; it's the excessive pursuit of it that can lead to trouble. As Christians, we should recognize that all wealth belongs to God and use it to strengthen our faith, not compromise it. Let's rethink our attitude toward money and use it wisely.
