Sunday Service: Beware of the Plains of Jordan Part 2 | Backsliding.

Today’s message reminded us that not everything that looks good is good for our spiritual lives. Just as the Plains of Jordan looked well-watered and appealing to Lot, sometimes the places we choose can slowly lead us away from God if we are not spiritually alert.

Backsliding does not happen overnight; it often begins with small compromises and gradual distance from God. May we always guard our hearts and remain rooted in the Lord.

Let us choose God’s presence over what merely looks attractive. Stay watchful. Stay faithful. 🙌

Every Sunday is a special moment for us to deep dive into worship, word and fellowship. This Sunday, Pastor K derived his message from Genesis 16, highlighting the story of Hagar who flees from Sarai (Sarah) into the desert, feeling hopeless.
