A GENDER JUSTICE TRAINING workshop was held yesterday in Gazebo, Eastview. It was meant to capacitate leaders on the issues of gender justice and was convened by the Catholic Commission for Justice and Peace. Church leaders from various denominations and community leaders attended the workshop which covered Gender Based Violence, Child Abuse, Child and Forced Marriages. TAFARA HALL (in picture) has lost its appeal and now looks derelict and abandoned. While privately-owned venues are much smaller in size, they have lush green lawns and flower beds, the Harare City Council-owned Tafara Hall's vast garden has been turned into a green leaf vegetable field. Broken windows, uncut grass and walls that clearly appears to have gone for some decades without repainting are now what is left of the once much-sought-after double-storey hall. garbage continues to accumulate at the corner of johnny tapedza and chiruwa streets in new mabvuku。the illegal dump is right at the suburb's water resevoir。it is quite worrisome as the country is currently seized with fighting the cholera outbreak which has so far claimed several lives in zimbabwe。。
