TIMKE is a Cebuano Heritage Recipe. We recreated this because it is important for me to know more about the taste of this dish and this is no longer popular amongst Cebuanos. I only got to know this dish after watching an episode from FEATR where they interviewed the Cebuana Author, Food Historian, & Heritage Advocate, Mrs. Louella Theresa Eslao-Alix. I am grateful, as a Cebuano myself, to have learned this almost lost Cebuano dishโฆ and in our own ways, we need this to be known & make it common once again across the island of Cebu.
Now that this is special, after learning this and cooking it in our own way, this is a perfect recipe to be added to our Christmas recipes sa Noche Buena.
AND IT DOES NOT DISAPPOINT! IT IS TASTY, CLEAN TO THE PALATE, RELAXING, and the chicken is juicyโฆ LAMI KAAYO!
