As I grow older, I’m slowly realizing how important it is to prioritize myself more, not in a selfish way, but in a way that allows me to give more, love more, and live more fully. 🩷

So here are three self-care tips that have been close to my heart lately and I hope they remind you to take care of yours, too:

1. Romanticize the everyday.
Find joy in the little things, your favorite cup of coffee, sunsets, skincare, or even your daily journaling. Life isn’t only about the big moments, it’s about making the ordinary feel magical.

2. Nourish your relationships.
Whether it’s a random hug to Nanay, a date night with your husband, or laughing at home with your cats, cherish the people who love you. A full heart is a cared-for heart. 💕

3. Create space for your dreams.
Even with a busy schedule, carve out time to dream again, through journaling, vision boards, or simply pausing to breathe and reflect. Your growth is still unfolding. And you deserve to grow beautifully.

POV: You Got Married at the Manila Cathedral — The Mother Church of the Philippines 🇵🇭💒

Still feels surreal that we tied the knot at such an iconic and sacred place, the Manila Cathedral. ✨

If you’re also planning to get married here, here’s a quick step-by-step on how to book based on our own experience:

1. Check if your preferred date and time is available via their website:
👉 wedding.manilacathedral.com.ph

2. Once available, pay the downpayment to secure your slot.

3. After payment, you’ll get access to their wedding portal. Log in to see the list of required documents and upload them there.

4. Attend the Pre-Cana Seminar and Canonical Interview (details are also in the portal).

5. Settle the remaining balance before your big day.

✨ Bonus points:
They’re very organized and actually follow up with you on the documents (which was super helpful kasi we were planning from abroad). And their team was always kind and responsive whenever we had questions.

If you’ve always dreamed of a cathedral wedding, I honestly can’t recommend this church enough.
It’s everything we hoped for and more. 💍

I remember a conversation with my Lola years ago while we were watching the wedding of a famous celebrity couple in the Philippines.

She said, “Pangarap kong makita kang ikasal sa malaking simbahan.”

How I wish my grandparents could’ve been there physically on our wedding day. But deep down, I know they were.

Still, the apo in me wanted something tangible, a little reminder that they were with me, walking down the aisle too. So I had this charm made and attached it to my bouquet.

Just a quiet tribute to the love that shaped me, and the three people who helped make me the bride I was that day. ✨

This is what my parents and family have always called me growing up.

Maybe they saw something I didn’t yet see in myself…

Or maybe, just maybe, they were manifesting this moment all along.

Because decades later, their Princess Sara married her prince who gave her the fairytale wedding she once only dreamed of. 🤍✨

Happy 1st month as husband and wife, my love.
