A dream from Baghdad reaches Locarno. 🌟

Irkalla: Gilgamesh’s Dream, the latest feature from acclaimed Iraqi-British director Mohamed Al-Daradji, is officially part of the lineup for the 78th Locarno International Film Festival!

Co-produced by Image Nation Abu Dhabi, the Iraqi Independent Film Center, and Human Film, the story is a poetic blend of myth, memory, and realism. Set in Baghdad, it follows a haunting tale of childhood, brought to life by a powerful cast: Youssef Husham Al-Thahabi, Hussein Raad Zuwayr, and Samar Kazem.

الفيلم الروائي الجديد "إركالا: حلم كلكامش"، للمخرج العراقي-البريطاني المتميّز محمد الدراجي، يُدرج رسميًا ضمن برنامج الدورة الـ78 من مهرجان لوكارنو السينمائي الدولي!

العمل من إنتاج مشترك بين إيمج نيشن أبوظبي، والمركز العراقي للفلم المستقل، وهيومن فيلم، ويقدّم مزيجًا شعريًا بين الأسطورة والذاكرة والواقع.
تدور أحداثه في بغداد، ويروي قصة طفولة مؤثرة تلامس الوجدان، من خلال أداء تمثيلي متميز من: يوسف هشام الذهبي، حسين رعد زوير، وسمر كاظم.

فخورون بهذا الإنجاز الفني. 👏🏻
