Sometimes inspiration begins with a place, a memory, a colour, a story you bring back home.

For Emirati designer Noora Shawqi , that’s how every collection starts: Japan, Morocco, the Maldives — each one captured in gold and stone. What began as a small experiment with an emerald earring has grown into a brand built on patience, purpose and pride in “Made in Dubai.”

Her recent collaboration with Tanagra, created for Emirati Women’s Day, celebrates exactly that — craftsmanship rooted in heritage and guided by women’s hands.
