Let me tell you a story—especially for my fellow fur parents.
We recently moved into a studio-type apartment in a villa with shared corridor pathways. I have two dogs, and like any loving fur parent, I make sure they are supervised and safe at all times. Prince, especially, is very active and loves to run, so before, we would let them play outside with guidance.
But everything changed when we noticed cats entering the villa. We later found out that one cat had given birth and was being sheltered by a neighbor. Out of respect and concern for the cats’ safety, we completely stopped letting our dogs go outside. No corridor time. No roaming. Period.
Then suddenly—p**p appeared in the corridor.
And guess who got blamed?
Us.
Neighbors complained to the caretaker, confidently saying it came from our dogs. I denied it because I knew the truth. One neighbor even came to my door to confront me. I asked one simple question: “Do you have proof?” Because if you’re going to accuse someone, you better be sure.
Another neighbor insisted she saw our dogs outside—which was impossible. She even owns a dog herself, yet somehow couldn’t tell the difference between dog p**p and cat p**p. As fur parents, let’s be real: if our dogs did that, we would clean it immediately. Responsibility is not optional—it’s basic.
Since words weren’t enough, I took action.
I installed CCTV.
And guess what it showed?
The cat walking through the corridor.
Video proof. No excuses. No assumptions.
We sent the footage to the caretaker, and only then did the story change. Only then did the accusations stop.
So here’s the moral of this story:
👉 Never accuse without evidence.
👉 Never underestimate a fur parent’s love and responsibility.
👉 And never push someone to the point where they have to prove the truth—because we will.
We protect our pets the same way others protect their children.
