Finally sharing a little sneak peek of what’s coming!

I’ve been on a bit of a break from DJing — life got kinda overwhelming, and honestly, it stopped feeling like my escape. It used to be my happy place where I could just be myself, get in the zone and share my love for music with you, my beautiful freaks and geeks.

Somewhere along the way, things DJing changed. Trends, clout chasing, etc … it all started to matter more than discovering and sharing new music, vibing to nostalgia, or appreciating the art of DJing itself. And then there was the online toxicity from strangers rage baiting for no reason. It got exhausting...

But you know what? I realized if I can’t beat them, maybe I can join them — in my own way. So I’m choosing to focus on the positive side of it all and see where it takes me. It’s gonna be an anxious ride, but I’m excited to be back and just do what I love again. Stay tuned.

This year's birthday treat to myself was to watch Superman solo. Why, solo? Because I realised self love and care is important. And honestly, it was the perfect solo date. An empty cinema where I laughed so loud without someone giving me the 👀. There were no screaming children and loud commenting throughout the movie. It was definitely the perfect way to end my little birthday.

Movie rating: 4/5

IMO I agree with everyone else, if you love the Superman Animated series you'll appreciate it & the casting was spot on. Though quite different in their own way, I love James Gunn's version of a very human Superman, more than Zack Snyder's.

All I wish for this birthday is world peace, to give mother nature some time to heal, for people to be kinder to other people and themselves, for my patience to last longer in order to deal with the ignorant and stupid, for being a weirdo to be a norm, for more cakes and better health in my future and lastly to be able to continue to show my love for the special people in my life and  one day the masses through food and music.

So... I did a thing. Let me tell you more about it...

I've been a supporter for Cancer Awareness for the longest time and I've lost a parent to the disease almost 12 years ago and the other one is in remission, Thank God. So this cause is very close to my heart. Since not a lot of people know that you can donate your hair for wigs I wanted to share this info with all of you.

In 2023, I decided to grow my hair in order to donate it a cancer foundation that makes wigs for cancer patients. Luckily, my hair grew like grass and in 2 years time I managed to grow a bit over the minimum length to donate just today.

It was a different kind of emotion, cutting your hair hoping it would make a difference to someone's life one day. From personal experience, I know it could make someone feel complete and at ease. So please, if you have long hair and would like to donate, this is what you have to do:

1. The Minimum length for hair donation is 30 cm
2. Make sure your hair is washed, dried and slightly straightened
3. Make a tight low ponytail to your desired length to cut, measure it then when you're ready braid it and then tie the end- then cut above the top ponytail. Put it in a zip lock bag with a label on it.
4. You can hand it to the security gate at the SCFA where the FOCP office is located in Sharjah, or send it by courier, whatever is convenient for you. And mention your details on the package (name, contact email, contact number). You can find all the details on website.
