📍Brienz Dorfstrasse (Village Street)
Location: Central Brienz, near the lake and the main church

Why it's famous:
This cobbled street is lined with centuries-old wooden chalets, adorned with carved details and colorful flower boxes.
It’s a protected heritage area, showcasing the best of traditional Bernese Oberland architecture.
Many chalets here are over 200 years old and still preserved in their original style.
It’s often featured in postcards, Swiss tourism ads, and Instagram travel feeds.

Serenity in Iseltwald 🇨🇭✨

Most people visit Arashiyama just for the Bamboo Forest.


It’s my 2nd time in Arashiyama pero before kasi I was not able to explore the place well kasi limited time lang kasi I only joined a day tour from Osaka.
This time I made sure I get to visit as many temples as I can. I get to visit Tenryu-ji (a UNESCO World Heritage site), Hogon-in, Nison-in and my fave of them all Otagi Nenbutsu-ji ❤️. Wandered in Hozugawa River, dinaanan ang over hyped Arashiyama Bamboo Forest 😬 and sumakay sa SAGA Romantic Train (bucket list ko ito during Autumn 🍂 kasi super ganda).
I think I walked almost 22K steps, tiniis ang napakalamig na klima 🥶 (6 degrees) pero punong puno naman ng travel memories 🇯🇵🌏

The pool and beachfront view is such a great combo — perfect for a morning swim or just lounging.

The Sea View room has the best view of the beach. The room is huge with 1 Queen bed and Day bed. We loved that the bathroom has a really modern, clean look. The green tiles add a refreshing spa-like feel.

Beachfront meals are amazing. The weather was not great during our stay, though. It would be lovely to have your dinner while watching the sunset for sure.

Food is great. Bagnet Sinigang at 625 php (good for 3pax). Although we find the cocktails a bit expensive at 400 php per glass. Good thing they offer happy hour 🍹. Breakfast is so good 😊 complete with champorado and brewed coffee ☕️

We will surely comeback —- ❤️

Momijigari, the Japanese tradition of viewing autumn foliage 🍂🇯🇵

Went leaf peeping 🍁 sa mga temples (Daigo-ji, Tofuku-ji, Kiyomizu-dera, Myoho-in, Tenryu-ji) Autumn last year in Kansai Region, Japan (Kyoto, Naha)

GION DISTRICT MORNING AND EVENING VIBES WITHOUT THE CROWD

Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka at night offers a serene and picturesque experience, contrasting with its daytime crowds. The streets are beautifully illuminated by traditional lanterns, creating a magical and peaceful atmosphere ideal for quiet exploration, photos, and experiencing the historical essence of the area without tourist chatter. It is also a time when you may have a higher chance of spotting a geiko or maiko in the Gion area.

Sharing with you photos I personally took during my morning and evening walks in the area with only my mobile phone with me.

- We would highly recommend to avail internet package, lalo na sa madali mabored 😬
- if you are a heavy drinker (like us😅) getting drink package is a must! Pati tubig may bayad! In💲beh!
- join the events, watch shows, explore each corner of the ship para hindi mainip 🛳️
- the foods are ok naman, pero if you are a picky eater meron other restaurants (additional charges)

Note: if your goal is to explore yun mga countries na pupuntahan, it’s not for you! Daig pa namin nag AMAZING RACE sa Fukuoka at Busan 🤣😅😬
