👂 Is it my ears or the audience? The amazing lesson that a neighborhood meeting taught me! 😂
>
The story is told in this clear and interesting way:
I was recently at a neighborhood meeting. Seeing the same person I saw on TV in person, I took my seat like any other in the audience.
Even though the person started speaking, the microphone was so noisy that I couldn't hear a word! All I could hear was the booming sound of the speaker and the people's screams.
The strange thing is... most of the audience seemed to hear him.👂🤔 The person would clap, shout, and whistle before he finished speaking! The person next to me wouldn't stop whistling and screaming.
But I was struggling to hear what he was saying—I couldn't hear anything! 😕
"What's wrong with me? Should I have my ears checked?" I asked, scratching my ears. Why didn't I hear what most people were saying?
Finally, I tapped the whistling man next to me on the shoulder and asked him softly:
> "Brother, I'm not listening. What is he saying?" I asked. The man turned around and answered me with amazing clarity:
> "Oh, I didn't hear either! I was just clapping. Just clapping!" He said and left me alone😱
He taught me that clapping with one's ears without understanding is a Tach Sefer culture.

😳 I wish my ears were healthy! Oh Tach Sefer
: Have you ever faced a situation like this? Have you seen many people clapping silently without understanding?
