Naglabas ang Sandiganbayan ng arrest warrants at hold-departure orders laban kay dating Ako Bicol representative Zaldy Co at 17 pang akusado kaugnay ng umano’y maanomalyang flood control project sa Oriental Mindoro.

A sweeping legal move against those tied to an allegedly bogus flood control project in Oriental Mindoro escalated on Friday as the Sandiganbayan announced it had issued arrest warrants and hold-departure orders for former Ako Bicol party-list representative Zaldy Co and 17 others.

Ipinahayag ni dating House Speaker Martin Romualdez na nagtitiwala siya sa pagiging patas ng Ombudsman matapos irekomenda ng DPWH at ICI ang pagsasampa ng plunder at graft charges laban sa kanya.

Ayon sa pahayag na binasa ng kanyang abogado, sinabi ni Romualdez: “I willingly submitted myself to the ICI’s fact-finding process, appeared voluntarily and remained in the country.”

10 DAYS TO GO

TJ Monterde will take the Abu Dhabi stage in 10 days, with his concert set for December 2, 2025 at the 321 Sports Arena, Hudayriyat Island.

The show will start earlier at 7:00 PM to allow more time for the program featuring KZ Tandingan under the direction of John Prats.

The event forms part of the UAE National Day celebration, with a National Day Bazaar at 2:00 PM and a fireworks display scheduled for 10:30 PM.

PASSPORT NI ROQUE, POSIBLENG KANSELAHIN

Sinabi ni Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian na inaasahang magkakaroon na ng hakbang ang DOJ para kanselahin ang pasaporte ni dating presidential spokesperson Harry Roque dahil sa kasong qualified trafficking.

Ayon sa senador, “Ang move po ng DOJ… is to move to cancel his passport” matapos magkaroon ng warrant of arrest at habang nananatiling wala pang hurisdiksiyon ang korte sa Angeles City sa kanya.
