Anxieties filled our hearts with fear
As we boarded, our loved ones dear
The pilot's voice, a final call
"It's time to go," and we'd have to fall

Into the skies, where clouds did play
But fate had other plans that day
Smoke and flames, a terrible sight
Hearts racing fast, prayers took flight

My father, a doctor, couldn't save
The lives that were lost in the fatal wave
The plane crashed down, a horror to see
Lives lost, hope shattered, memories of what could be

In the darkest hour, we pray and cry
For safety and peace, we ask the sky
May the departed souls find rest
And their loved ones find strength in their nest
