Multiple coordinated attacks targeting Pakistani forces and infrastructure have been reported across various regions of , allegedly carried out by "pro-independence" Baloch armed groups.
🔻Turbat:
A gr***de attack was reported in the D Baloch area of Turbat, targeting Pakistani forces. The extent of casualties or damage remains unconfirmed.
🔻Kech District:
Explosions and sustained gunfire have been reported in the Buleda area. Details are still emerging as communications remain limited in the region.
🔻Quetta:
Three separate gr***de attacks were carried out on Pakistani army posts in the Hazarganji and Faizabad areas of the Balochistan's capital, Quetta.
🔻Panjgur:
Armed men established a blockade on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) highway in the Washbod area. Vehicles were stopped, and passengers were reportedly subjected to ID checks.
▪In Panjgur, two police vehicles were seized along with arms. Several police officials were reportedly detained by the attackers.
▪A police station was captured, its weapons seized, and subsequently set ablaze.
▪A check post in the Bonistan area was also taken over by the armed men.
▪Reports indicate that operatives of a government-backed militia, locally referred to as the "death squad" under the command of a figure known as Qasim, were injured during the clashes.
These incidents follow a major armed operation in the Hoshab district, where militants reportedly took control of the area. Critical infrastructure, including a NADRA office and a levies station, were set on fire. Additionally, ten non-locals were reportedly taken hostage during a blockade on the M8 CPEC highway.
