Para makatulong sa pamilya at sa pag-aaral, naging “raketera” si Jacquelyn Adormeo at sinalihan ang mga pageant, modeling, hosting events, maging ang mga makeup gigs habang siya'y estudyante pa lamang.

Mula sa munting pagguhit, pinili ni Leonila Robledo na tahakin ang landas ng pagiging arkitekto upang makaahon sa hirap ng buhay. Ngayon, isa na siya sa mga kinikilala bilang top Filipino architects sa UAE.

“Life may not always be easy for us. Some of us leave home to work abroad, others stay and carry daily struggles. But through it all, we are strong, resilient, and courageous," mensahe ni Robledo sa kapwa Pilipinong nagsusumikap.
