A power bank is a portable, rechargeable device primarily designed to provide power to other electronic devices such smart phones, tablets, laptops and cameras. DEWA's electricity transmission investments surpass AED 7.6 billion

Number of substations in Dubai stood at 391 by the end of H1 2025

HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), has revealed that DEWA’s electricity transmission network projects now exceed AED 7.6 billion in value. He further noted that DEWA commissioned four 132 kV substations with a conversion capacity of 450 megavolt-amperes during the first half of 2025, at a cost of AED 725 million. These projects included the extension of 228km of transmission cables.....

As part of their ongoing awareness campaign "Be Aware of Fraud," Dubai Police shared details of a case in which fraudsters targeted individuals through social media. They convinced victims to provide their banking information or open bank accounts and digital wallets for small amounts.
