TECOM Group reinforces leading role in digital economy with launch of AED 615 million Innovation Hub Phase 4 in Dubai Internet City

TECOM Group PJSC (DFM: TECOM), (the “Company” or the “Group”), the creator of specialised business districts and vibrant communities in Dubai, has launched Phase 4 of Innovation Hub in Dubai Internet City to address rising demand for Grade-A office spaces from global multinational companies in vital, future-focused economic sectors.

With a gross leasable area (GLA) of 263,000 sq.ft., the AED 615 million development represents the fourth phase of Innovation Hub and strengthens Dubai Internet City’s position as the leading technology hub in the region. In 2025, Emirates SkyCargo transported over 14,600 cats, dogs and other domestic pets – an average of 40 pets every day! These globetrotting critters travelled all over the airline’s network, with the top cities including London, Melbourne, Glasgow, Cape Town, Paris, Mumbai, Toronto and, of course, Dubai. Over 1,000 pets made the ultra-long haul relocation flight from the UK to Australia or New Zealand, and another 100 travelled even further, leaving the snowy tundra of Canada for the outback of Australia.....

Construction starts on new amenities and innovation hub at

DP World and Thames Freeport have broken ground on a £13m pioneering amenities and innovation hub – The Hive – at the London Gateway Logistics Park.

The latest investment in Thames Freeport’s mission to drive skills, innovation, and opportunity across the Thames Estuary, the 29,000 sq. ft. site will serve as a dynamic new focal point for local businesses, employee training, and community engagement, offering flexible meeting rooms and a dedicated training and innovation skills centre, alongside a state-of-the-art gym, two sports pitches and food and drink facilities.

This £13m investment into the local community will provide over 100 days of industrial and employability skills programmes per year, supporting around 1,125 trainees annually across the Freeport and marks the latest collaboration between DP World and Thames Freeport, co-funded as part of the Freeport’s seed-fund programme to create shared infrastructure for skills and innovation across its three council areas – Barking & Dagenham, Havering, and Thurrock.......

DP World launches 36-hour Dubai-Iraq sea link, cutting costs and transit times

DP World has launched a new 36-hour maritime service between Dubai’s Mina Rashid and Iraq’s Umm Qasr Port, providing a faster alternative to overland trucking and accommodating up to 145 accompanied trailers per sailing.

The service was inaugurated at Mina Rashid with the official welcome of DP World Express - the dedicated RoRo vessel operating the new route. The vessel has recently undergone upgrades at Drydocks World and is scheduled to begin operations in December 2025.....
