First time experiencing a festa in Malta! 🇲🇹✨ I was lucky to witness the San Ġwann festa in honor of Our Lady of Lourdes. From the beautiful procession and colorful street decorations to the lively band marches, fireworks, and delicious street food—it was an unforgettable experience.

It reminded me so much of the fiestas we celebrate back home in the Philippines. Different traditions, but the same faith, joy, and sense of community. ❤️🇵🇭

One month in Malta!
Survived my first month... somehow! 😅
I'm still trying to figure out the buses—they're free, but catching the right one feels like a daily adventure. 🚌🤣
I'm also learning the painful art of spending and saving in euros. Every time I pay, my brain automatically converts it to dirhams. 💶➡️🇦🇪 😂
From grabbing shawarma in Dubai to craving and eating pastizzi in Malta—what a plot twist! 🥙➡️🥟
Slowly adjusting to the Maltese/European lifestyle, one bus ride, one euro, and one pastizzi at a time. Cheers to more adventures (and hopefully fewer wrong buses)! 🇲🇹❤️

Mercury Tower is Malta's tallest building. Designed by the legendary architect Zaha Hadid, this 122-meter (400 ft) futuristic skyscraper in St. Julian's features 33 floors and a striking twisted midsection. It is home to luxury residential apartments, ME Malta by Meliá, and high-end entertainment spaces.

Having worked in Dubai, seeing tall buildings isn't new to me. Still, it feels quite massive for an island country like Malta, but it's definitely an impressive landmark. 🇲🇹🏙️✨
