The 1 Billion Followers Summit has announced the AI Film Award in partnership with Google Gemini AI, valued at US$ 1 million. The award empowers filmmakers to integrate AI into storytelling, enhancing creativity, technical skills, and audience impact.

The Summit, organized by the UAE Government Media Office, will run 9–11 January 2026, featuring 400+ speakers, 15,000 content creators, and visitors from 140 countries. Initiatives include the Creator’s Market and Creators Ventures accelerator, investing UAE Dhs 50 million to support the next generation of creators.

Submissions are open until 20 November 2025, requiring films 70% AI-generated using Google Gemini AI. Top five films will be screened at the Summit, with the grand prize revealed on 11 January.
