Sobra yung iyak ko! 😭😭😭

Pag ko ng TV, Netflix yung nakaopen then nakita ko na showing na Internationally yung Hello, Love Again.

Etong eto ako nung nagsisimula… nagbalik lahat sa memorya ko… hagulgol tuloy ang inday!

Yung kotse ko na halos maging bahay ko na dun kumakain, natutulog, palipas oras - nagaantay ng kliyenta puro damet, tsinelas, cleaning materials, tapos deretso sa mga raket! Tangina yung iyak ko!!!! Bumagsak lahat.

Gusto ko lang ishare sainyo na nakita ko yung sarili ko 10 years ago nung nagsisimula ako sa abroad, raket dito raket duon. Magka pera lang!

You see… napag daanan ko to! Hindi madali ang buhay ng OFW.

Isa akong OFW, na mataas ang pangarap, madameng gustong marating sa buhay. Hindi humihinto hindi mapakali kahit may maayos na corpo job as an operations manager, while working online sa MENA region after work, simultaneously naglilinis pa ako ng mga bahay sa Dubai.

Yes you heard it right! Naglilinis ako ng mga office at villa at apartments sa Dubai. And I am super proud of it!

Pero thank you sa old self ko! Hindi ka sumuko, nagpatuloy ka kahit nakakapagod para sa pangarap.

And look at me now… sobrang layo na! sobrang ibang iba na! sobrang dameng nagbago sa buhay. 🙏🏼

Thank you Lord, thank you sa family ko, thank you lv, sa walang sawang suporta at palageng nanjan para intindihin ako maabot lang yung pangarap ko.

Walang mawawala kung iiwas tayo sa mga temptation sa paligid, matutong magtipid, maging disiplinado sa pera, at magkaron ng growth mindset.

Alam kong mahirap. Hindi madaling baguhin ang mindset, lalo na kung matagal na nating nakasanayan. Pero isipin mo na lang, paano kung kaya mo palang mag-grow? Paano kung kaya mo palang magkaroon ng mas magandang future? Walang mangyayari kung hindi mo susubukan.

Here’s what I learned:
1. Clarity is key – Dapat malinaw sa’yo kung ano ang goals mo. Hindi pwedeng basta sahod lang ang habol mo. For me, sinabi ko sa sarili ko na gusto kong makapag-ipon para makapag-invest at magkaroon ng ibang income streams.
2. Start small – Hindi kailangan ng malaking pagbabago agad-agad. Magsimula ka sa maliliit na steps, tulad ng magtabi ng kahit 10% ng sahod mo bilang ipon.
3. Invest in yourself – Isa sa pinakamagandang desisyon na nagawa ko ay mag-aral ng bagong skills habang nagtatrabaho. Hindi ko hinayaan na forever akong nakaasa lang sa sahod ko bilang empleyado.
