Ndi Abia, meet your former brother-turned-sister:

What was once your brother, Mr. Christopher Chinemerem Njoku, is now your sister, Olivia, from Ndundu, Uturu. A devoted Catholic, chorister, and graduate of the University of Port Harcourt, she transitioned from male to female while living in Istanbul and now resides in Canada. We, ndị Uturu, are even ready to “loan her out” to any town that wants her, because it seems unlikely she will return, after all, this kind of life doesn’t really fit in Uturu! 😂

PORT HARCOURT BELONGS TO THE IGBOS- West African Court of Appeal.

The then West African Court of Appeal (WACA) judgement in the case between IKWERRE VS. OKRIKA in 1958 bordering on the status of Port Harcourt settled it.

WACA decided that Port Harcourt belongs to the Igbos. There was no appeal till date.

When Elechi Amadi was confronted with the WACA judgement by Ohaneze Ndi Igbo Counsel, he affirmed it and it was admitted in evidence.
His only remark was that "the Ikwerre people involved their wealthy Igbo brothers in litigation, fought for Port Harcourt under the shadow of their rich brothers against Okrika people and consequently, the court so ruled.

When asked whether he appealed against that judgement, he said NO.

That Port Harcourt is an Igbo city was a judgement of a superior court that has not been vacated.

Many reasonable Nigerians are now quietly withdrawing their support from VDM. And to be honest, I understand why. If at this point you are still following him blindly and supporting everything he does, you need to think again.

I am speaking from experience because I also supported him in the past. But over time, I started to notice things about him, the envy, the way he enjoys bringing people down, and his silence when someone is doing something good.

Let’s even assume that the allegations against Harrison are true. What stopped VDM from ever using his platform to appreciate Harrison for the good work he has done before? Nothing. But he never mentioned his name when the story was positive. It was only when a rumour of wrongdoing came out that he quickly started talking about Harrison, even bragging that he called for his arrest.

This kind of behaviour shows the true nature of someone who prefers negativity over fairness. That is why many free thinkers and independent-minded people who once supported him have now withdrawn quietly.

I am not saying you shouldn’t praise him when he genuinely does something good. But if you call yourself a “Ratel” and go around the internet supporting everything he does, even when it makes no sense, then you are not using your sense at all.

Support people, yes… but don’t lose your judgment in the process.

Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Rivers Calls for Igbo Support for Anioma State Project

Ohanaeze Ndígbo in Rivers State, led by Livingston Weche, has urged all Igbos to rally behind the creation of Anioma State. In a recent statement, Weche emphasized the strategic importance of the initiative, describing it as an "Igbo project" that should be embraced collectively rather than viewed as the endeavor of any individual, including Ned Nwoko. He appealed to Igbos to temporarily set aside other considerations and lend their support to the effort to expand the Southeast.

Breaking news: Tinubu, Otti Hold Crucial meeting as Efforts to Secure Nnamdi Kanu’s Release Intensify

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday met with Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, in what sources describe as part of ongoing efforts to secure the release of detained IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

The meeting comes shortly after Governor Otti visited Kanu at the Sokoto prison facility where he is currently serving his sentence. Otti was accompanied during the visit by Kanu’s younger brother, Emmanuel Kanu; Abia State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Ikechukwu Uwanna (SAN); his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ferdinand Ekeoma; as well as representatives of the Sokoto State Government.

Governor Otti had earlier reaffirmed that securing Kanu’s freedom remains a top priority for his administration, noting that a coordinated plan is already in motion.

“While Mazi Nnamdi Kanu retains the right to appeal his conviction, I want to assure that I have activated and will continue with the agreed strategy until his freedom is achieved,” Otti said through his media team.

Tuesday’s engagement with President Tinubu is seen as a continuation of those efforts, with expectations that a combination of political negotiation and legal mechanisms may be deployed in resolving Kanu’s prolonged detention.

“We are humans. We live, we exist. But when survival is threatened, we fight. We fight because the choice to be free is one we must make together, freely and consciously. We fight because, when faced with annihilation, taking up arms becomes the last honor left to a people on the brink of extinction. In the end, the truest defense against death is the courage to live.”

— Gen. Chukwuemeka Ojukwu, April 1968
