Stop helping ungrateful people. Because no matter how many times you show up for them, no matter how much of yourself you give, it will never be enough for someone who lacks appreciation. These are the people who drain you, who expect your help without acknowledging the sacrifice it takes, who act entitled to your kindness but disappear the moment you need even a fraction of that support in return. They won't remember your efforts-they'll only notice the one time you say no.

Helping others is a beautiful thing, but not when it becomes a cycle of self-betrayal. You are not a savior. You are not a backup plan. You are not responsible for fixing people who don't even want to fix themselves. Gratitude is the bare minimum, and if someone can't give you that, they don't deserve your help.

You deserve to be surrounded by people who recognize your effort, who say thank you without being reminded, who lift you when you're down just like you did for them. So set the boundary. Walk away when you're being used. Anc understand that protecting your energy isn't selfish-it's survival.
