âThis is an absolutely proud moment for me as Iâve just stepped into London!!
My drawing, part of an academic collaboration with Hrisheeta Singh, has been selected as one of the top works from the Drawing of the Year Awards out of 7,000 entries worldwide, to be exhibited at London Creates 2025, hosted by Archisource.
Itâs being showcased alongside work from top global creatives and architectural studios like Foster + Partners and RSHP, as part of a major celebration of creativity in the built environment.
What makes this even more special is the esteemed jury who selected the works ; including Narinder Sagoo MBE (Foster + Partners), Jim Heverin (Zaha Hadid Architects), Will Johnston (RSHP), Sam Conway (Hayes Davidson), Eliza Grosvenor (London Festival of Architecture), and Archisource co-founders Mansel Haynes and Emily Glynn â names Iâve long looked up to.
The drawing was developed during the M.Arch design studio âArt, Culture and Other Thingsâ, led by Samuel Hunter at The University of Melbourne
To top it all off, the work has also been published in the Drawing of the Year 2025 book, featuring the best visual works from this yearâs showcase.
Massive thanks to Archisource for the opportunity. The exhibition runs until 19 July at The Truman Brewery, London â free and open to all.â Dristi Chakma.
