This Saturday we close August with absolute fire! After years of us playing + you dancing his bangers, we are super excited to host legend Beau Didier ☻ Someone on the net named him the hardgroove god, and they are probably right considering the vast catalog of releases on major techno labels since 2021. As Secta we have precious core memories connected to his music back in our early days!

Behind the decks, his fun personality seems to come through his sets packed with weight, precision and a bit of playful naughtiness. From Awakenings, Vault Sessions, Frenzy and more, Beau has been bringing his unmistakable energy on many respected dancefloors in Amsterdam and major clubs worldwide.

THIS WEEK ART HUB → on site paintings / visuals → a dedicated visual experimentation area where we delve deeper into the intersection of sound, art, and design.

For this eight takeover, Dubai-based Filipino painter kian sison ♪ presents 𝓜𝓪𝓰𝓲𝓬 𝓘𝓼 𝓔𝓿𝓮𝓻𝔂𝔀𝓱𝓮𝓻𝓮, 𝓫𝓾𝓽 𝓘𝓽’𝓼 𝓗𝓪𝓻𝓭 𝓽𝓸 𝓔𝔁𝓹𝓵𝓪𝓲𝓷, a series of paintings and portraits following his “Magical Girls” through mental battles, intimate emotions, and the quiet absurdities of simply trying to survive.

Drawing from personal experiences and fragments of his journals, Kian transforms breakdowns, confessions, and reflections on identity into surreal and sometimes unsettling portraits. Through distorted bodies, exaggerated expressions, tenderness, and discomfort, magic becomes a language for emotions that are otherwise difficult to articulate — where joy, shame, longing, and survival coexist.

Behind the decks, expect a high-energy set packed with weight, pressure and a bit of playful naughtiness. Excited to present and host this Saturday one of the most distinctive and unique selectors in the scene DJ TOOL DJ TOOL ☻

Unapologetically authentic, his sets traverse high energy techno, driving trancy worlds and seductive psychedelia across an encyclopedic back-catalogue of classics. Originally emerging from Fast Forward Productions and now co-founder of the infamous Berlin’s MALA JUNTA , he has become renowned for his marathon performances and legendary closings at iconic clubs such as Bassiani, Basement, and Fold, while also collaborating with institutions like Berghain. With an uncompromising approach to DJing and an a high level of eclecticism, we’re expecting this Secta to be one of the most unique and unorthodox of all times = absolutely don’t miss it 💦

This seventh takeover is by creative technologist Mrinal presenting Hyperstitional Temples — an installation of graphic prints and generative moving images. Drawing from speculative architecture, digital infrastructure, and computational systems, the work imagines monuments that blur the line between simulation and history.

As digital infrastructure expands beyond its functional role, Hyperstitional Temples explores how technical systems become sites of mythology and memory. Server halls emerge as imagined archaeological ruins, while computational logic evolves into a new visual cosmology, where infrastructure takes on cultural and symbolic meaning.

Raised in the Middle East and London based, she’s a multifaceted artist with a genderless approach to sound that can deliver anything from bouncy psychedelic techno, angelic trance, progressive house, and traditional sounds from her roots. Resident at FOLD Refuge Worldwide and more, she possesses a natural flair for engaging diverse communities both on and off the dancefloor, with a fearless approach to addressing socio-political causes she believes in, becoming an essential figure in the London music scene.
