Есть места, где история ощущается не как прошлое, а как живое дыхание. Тут понимаешь, пространство создано не ради одной красивой экспозиции, а чтобы ощутить истинный вайб страны.

Абу-Даби город особенный, он умело держит баланс между будущим и корнями. Музей Шейха Зайеда - очень яркое проявления этого качества.

Архитектура впечатляет - свет, воздух, линии крыши, будто собранные из традиций, но выполненные так технологично, что они становятся естественной системой охлаждения. Башни-«паруса» не декоративны, они функциональны, как и все в этой стране.

Внутри - другое измерение! Здесь можно прикоснуться к истории Эмиратов не через факты, а через предметы, фотографии, ритуалы, корабли, инструменты звездочетов. Все, что формировало жизнь людей до нефти, до небоскребов, до глобализации.

Но главное - рассказ о самом Шейхе Зайеде. О человеке, который сделал невозможное. Когда смотришь на эти залы, понимаешь его масштаб, не политический, а исторический и человеческий. Он видел дальше горизонта. Верил в страну раньше, чем она существовала.

Музей звучит эпически. Ты стоишь среди артефактов, смотришь на традиционный корабль под стеклянной крышей, слышишь шаги и понимаешь, что эта страна - чудо. Она выросла из пустыни, из веры и упрямой мечты одного человека. Здесь чувствуешь не богатство, а путь. Не роскошь, а волю. Музей делает эти чувства осязаемым.

Вы не поймете эту страну, не услышав ее внутреннюю мелодию и ритм. Используйте этот щедрый шанс и настройте свой внутренний камертон.

The Day I Don’t Feel Like Summing Things Up

Birthdays — especially the big, round ones — are usually seen as the perfect time for grand self-reflection.
Who am I? What am I doing? Where am I going? How far have I come?

But you know what… I just don’t feel like it.
And maybe that’s the biggest insight of the day.

I don’t feel like digging deep or overanalyzing, because everything feels balanced.
My work is fascinating.
The country I live in is wonderful.
My achievements are tangible.
And I like the woman I see in the mirror.

What feels right today is gratitude.
To God, to the world, to my family and the people around me —
to everyone who helped, taught, and supported me through each day I’ve lived.

What else could I add?
Maybe wish that everything stays exactly the same?
Of course.
But life, thankfully, doesn’t freeze.

So instead of saying “Happy Birthday to me,”
I’ll say “I promise.”

I promise to take care of my body,
to keep my mind awake,
to never lose curiosity,
and not to waste these beautiful years of youth chasing a “picture-perfect” or “trendy” life.

Because living beautifully isn’t about images or fashion.
It’s when you feel calm, curious, and accomplished.
When you can truly approve of yourself, without psychological tricks or mental gymnastics.

Dear Gloria, so far, you’ve done everything right.
Keep going just like this.
