(good news vs bad news)
βœ… Good News (UAE Side):

UAE allows residents to sponsor visit visas for friends and relatives up to the third degree (e.g., cousins, uncles, nieces).

Visa processing is faster and more flexible now, especially for those with valid residency and stable income in the UAE
❌ Challenges (Philippines Side):
The Philippine Bureau of Immigration (BI) has strict rules to prevent human trafficking and illegal recruitment. Because of that, travelers often face:

Offloading at the airport.

Excessive documentation requirements, including:

Proof of relationship (e.g., birth certificates, photos).

Financial documents (e.g., bank statements, job contracts of the sponsor).

Proof of accommodation and return ticket.

Affidavit of Support (not always enough by itself).

DSWD clearance (for minors traveling alone or with non-parents).

Many travelers complain that even with complete documents, immigration officers sometimes still deny boarding, often at their discretion.

UAE residents can now sponsor visit visas for friends and relatives up to the third degree. The new rules require a minimum salary of AED 4,000 for immediate family, AED 8,000 for extended relatives, and AED 15,000 for friends.
